Audio
Conference Producer
ForeignExchange
is expanding its highly successful audio conference series. In
order to support this growth, we are looking for an additional
audio conference producer.
The role of
the audio conference producer is to provide a high-end customer
service experience with every conference. This encompasses end-to-end
management of audio conferences from identification of topics
to technical support, moderating and producing. You will become
the primary customer contact for all inquiries and will respond
to all calls or emails throughout the life cycle of this event.
Specifically,
this position entails:
- Identifying
commercially viable topics
- Identifying
and recruiting speakers and subject-matter experts
- Scheduling
and organizing concurrent audio conferences
- Organizing
campaigns to promote audio conferences
- Preparing
speakers, conducting rehearsals, providing training and guidance
as needed
- Arranging
for the telephony
- Acting
as first line technical support during the event, and during
post-event activities
- Maintain
and update website and shopping cart with latest audio conference
information, and responding to purchase requests
- Scripting
- Moderating
and troubleshooting live and recorded conferences
- Maintaining
accurate records and speaker reports, including use of Salesforce.com
- Building
relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including
speakers, sponsors, attendees, peers, and supervisors
- Other
audio conference and marketing related tasks as needed
Skills requirements
include:

The Document
Localization Lead is a fast-paced role primarily responsible for
leading and coordinating multilingual desktop publishing projects.
Working with teams of internal and external resources, Leads facilitate
the desktop publishing portions of large translation projects.
Leads regularly interact with vendors and clients to develop desktop
publishing specifications and to troubleshoot issues. Leads also
assist the sales team with quoting of new projects..
We are looking
for a reliable team player with the following characteristics:
- 2 to 3
years of experience using and troubleshooting FrameMaker, MS
Word, QuarkXPress, InDesign, PageMaker, Acrobat and other desktop
publishing software
- Experience
executing and leading the production portion of complex document-localization
projects

written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized

Localization Lead (permanent)
The Multimedia
Localization Lead provides leadership for web site, flash, graphics,
and desktop publishing translation projects. Leads work with cutting
edge publishing, content management, multi-media, and translation
technologies to reconstruct the layout and design of our clients’
translated products.
We are looking
for candidates with knowledge of the following:
- HTML,
CSS, JS, XML & web site architecture
- Basic
Flash design and/or development
- Audio
and/or video translation
- Windows
and/or Mac OS
- Solid
problem-solving skills
- Strong
written and verbal communication skills
- Experience
managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- SDL Trados
preferred, but not required
- Double-byte
language experience preferred, but not required
This position
requires analysis and preparation of diverse file formats for
translation into foreign languages. During the translation process
the Lead provides technical support for translators. After translation,
the Lead coordinates engineering and desktop publishing resources
to restore the content to the deliverable file format and validate
the quality.
This position
is not creative but requires design, development, and debugging
skills to assure quality products. Candidates should have two
to three years of desktop publishing, graphic design, or multimedia
experience.

and/or ensure quality assurance procedures are followed during
the project.
- Effectively
maintain project documentation.
- Manage
smaller projects under supervision of project manager.
- Assist
with Translation Memory and Terminology Database maintenance.
- Build relationships
with vendors, project managers, and sales staff.
- Provide
high quality customer service at all times.
- Follow
project management procedures at all times.
