Final QA Specialists

Are you a perfectionist with a meticulous eye for detail? If so, ForeignExchange wants to hear from you. We are seeking qualified individuals from North America and Europe for the position of Final QA Specialist.

The Final QA Specialist is the last checkpoint before localized files are shipped to the client. In this position, you will ensure that the source text matches the localized text in terms of:

• numbers
• acronyms
• punctuation
• paragraphs
• number of sentences
• formatting elements (borders, styles, layout).

This position does not require knowledge of the subject matter or target language. Final QA is performed on .pdf files, and source files are annotated as required. Position requires full version of Adobe Acrobat and successful completion of testing. Click here for information on how to apply.

Desktop publishers

ForeignExchange regularly works in all leading desktop-publishing and graphic-editing applications, across 32 languages, on major operating systems, in print and on the Internet.

We are looking for graphic artists located in our time zone (GMT -8 hours - GMT -3 hours) with extensive experience working with multilingual texts, including:

• work with Western, Eastern European and Baltic languages, Cyrillic, Greek, double-byte and/or bi-directional languages
• creation of single and multiple-language documents in MS Word, FrameMaker, QuarkXPress, InDesign or Illustrator (PC or MAC)
• graphic editing and layout adaptation to foreign-language needs
• familiarity with translation/TM tools a plus

Web localization specialists

We are looking for web specialists who have extensive experience working with multilingual web content in a localization setting, including:

• troubleshooting and QA of localized XML, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, resource files and others
• graphic editing and layout adaptation to foreign-language needs
• Flash and Photoshop
• experience with double-byte & Eastern European languages
