Audio Conference Producer

ForeignExchange is expanding its highly successful audio conference series. In order to support this growth, we are looking for an additional audio conference producer.

The role of the audio conference producer is to provide a high-end customer service experience with every conference. This encompasses end-to-end management of audio conferences from identification of topics to technical support, moderating and producing. You will become the primary customer contact for all inquiries and will respond to all calls or emails throughout the life cycle of this event.

Specifically, this position entails:

  • Identifying commercially viable topics
  • Identifying and recruiting speakers and subject-matter experts
  • Scheduling and organizing concurrent audio conferences
  • Organizing campaigns to promote audio conferences
  • Preparing speakers, conducting rehearsals, providing training and guidance as needed
  • Arranging for the telephony
  • Acting as first line technical support during the event, and during post-event activities
  • Maintain and update website and shopping cart with latest audio conference information, and responding to purchase requests
  • Scripting
  • Moderating and troubleshooting live and recorded conferences
  • Maintaining accurate records and speaker reports, including use of Salesforce.com
  • Building relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including speakers, sponsors, attendees, peers, and supervisors
  • Other audio conference and marketing related tasks as needed

Skills requirements include:

  • Background in live broadcasting
  • Experience in producing/moderating live events
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility; ability to assess and react quickly to change
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Takes a great deal of pride in the quality of the end product
  • Goal-oriented; does whatever it takes to overcome hurdles
  • Strong relationship-management skills
  • Experience dealing with senior management and large companies an asset

Strategic Account Manager (permanent)

In order to sustain our aggressive growth, we are looking for a highly motivated individual.

The account manager is a key member of the ForeignExchange sales team. In this important role, you will:

  • Manage relationships with assigned client accounts;
  • Carefully prepare client proposals and quotations;
  • Develop account management and growth strategies;
  • Interface and coordinate with Business Development Managers, clients, internal operations, engineering and other team members;
  • Provide input to presales planning, resourcing and estimating of projects;
  • Reconcile client requirements with operational constraints to develop high-value client proposals.

Document Localization Lead (permanent)

In this challenging role you will lead and coordinate multilingual desktop publishing projects. You will provide localization support to vendors, translation reviewers and internal groups. Leading teams of internal and external resources, you will develop and maintain localization kits for printed and electronic documentation projects, and ensure quality services. You will have the opportunity to interact with clients to develop desktop publishing specifications and troubleshoot issues and to assist the sales group with quoting of new projects.

We are looking for a reliable team player with the following characteristics:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience using and troubleshooting FrameMaker, MS Word, QuarkXPress, InDesign, PageMaker, Acrobat and other file formats in a localization/translation setting
  • experience executing and leading the production portion of complex document-localization projects
  • attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • well organized and proficient at managing time and multiple project responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment
  • experience working with Trados and double-byte languages a plus
  • experience with web localization and XML a plus
  • foreign language skills a plus but not required
