The Publishing Specialist is responsible for performing desktop publishing tasks on multilingual projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of skills and experience as follows:
- Skilled with FrameMaker, MS Word, QuarkXPress, InDesign, PageMaker, Acrobat and other desktop publishing software
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized and proficient at managing time and multiple project responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment
- In-depth knoledge of Windows and/or Mac OS
- Basic knowledge of localization tools
- Experience with double-byte languages and with markup languages (XML and HTML) is a plus
