To sustain our aggressive growth, we are looking for a Business Development Representative to join the ForeignExchange sales organization. This position is based in our West Newton, MA office.
The Business Development Representative is a key member of the Sales Team. In this important role, you will:
- Identify, develop and qualify sales leads
- Act as a sales catalyst identifying new opportunities and new contacts, in assigned territory
- Collaborate with Business Development Directors to establish prospect penetration strategies
- Assist in the development of territory plans and key account strategies
- Meet standard activity goals for the role; achieving the number of phone calls and meetings
- Help create Account Plans, Organizational Charts and eMail Marketing Campaigns
- Demonstrate a strong sense of professionalism, while conducting and interacting with clients
- Articulate the ForeignExchange value proposition to prospects and clients
- Develop a deep understanding of the Life Sciences Industry
Our minimum requirements are:
- B.S. / B.A. or equivalent experience
- 1 to 2 years of proven success in a sales support role; experience working with Life Science companies a plus
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, high energy level and stamina; to make 75+ phone calls per day
- Self-motivated, yet responds well to coaching and mentoring
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to develop and expand relationships with clients
- Effective organization and time management skills
- A team player, fast learner and someone who is at ease with technology
- Advanced experience working with MS Word; Excel; Power Point; and CRM systems, is highly desired
- Proven ability to function in culturally diverse team that is geographically distributed across multiple locations
