Are you concerned
that your HR policies and processes might be leaving you vulnerable
to lawsuits? No one sets out to create policy risks and personnel
litigation. Yet every year a new crop of employee lawsuits are
spawned by claims of inattention, inconsistency or unfairness
in applying organization policies. In this audio conference, we
will review what makes for good policy, consistent enforcement.
We’ll look at some basic rules for limiting or avoiding workplace
grievances, discipline and lawsuits. In a way, Grandma was right:
“an ounce of policy prevention is worth a pound of legal cure.”
This audio
conference will address:
- understanding
the factors that make good policy
- learning
to spot policy problem areas
- recent
developments in employee/personnel lawsuits
- strategies
for reducing risks or employee litigation
- how to
work with attorneys on employment issues
- determining
areas where you can improve personnel policy
